Severe Storm ^ Tornado - Joplin, Mo. , August 1, 2011 -- The relocation of 20 temporary houses to Roger Hines site was completed on August 3. The temporary houses are 840 square meters, has three bedrooms, lounge, dining room and kitchen. The community includes bus, storm shelters, mailbox units, gravel and asphalt roadways and all utilities related to the infrastructure of the community, including a sewer system and waterline installation. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt. NARA keeps those Federal records that are judged to have continuing value—about 2 to 5 percent of those generated in any given year.
