New Orleans, La. , March 21, 2011 --  Louisiana Recovery Office staff participate in the grand opening ceremonies for the Johnson Bayou Library in Cameron Parish. The building was washed away by the severe storm surge from Hurricane Rita.  FEMA obligated over $784,000 for the reconstruction of the permanent library building, which is mitigated to the Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps elevation to prevent future storm damage. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service.
