At the Launch Facility, the launcher's heavy blast door is rolled back, and SENIOR Airmen Lance Brock and Denver Galford, 341 MXS, attempt to put a metal barrier up along the exposed launcher opening. The airmen found that the post holes were too badly corroded to put the barrier into place, and had to improvise with yellow crime scene tape borrowed from security police at the site

The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt.
