The Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Collins Class Submarine Her Majestys Australian Ship (HMAS) RANKIN (SSK 78) cruises at sea at periscope depth, shes scheduled to participate in exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2004. RIMPAC is the largest international maritime exercise in the waters around the Hawaiian Islands. The Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Collins Class Submarine Her Majestys Australian Ship (HMAS) RANKIN (SSK 78) sits pier side at Naval Base Pearl Harbor. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service.
