When approximately 3000 competitors from around the world converged onto Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, for the fourth annual Air Force Marathon on September 16, 2000, organizers ensured that there were more than enough aid stations. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt.
