Far Rockaway, N.Y., Jan. 15, 2013 -- FEMA Neighborhood Task Force Initiative members take to the field to meet with residents in Rockaway and Breezy Point, NY to address ongoing and unmet needs. By combining the forces of several departments and technology in the field, including Community Relations, Individual Assistance, FEMA Corps and volunteer agencies, FEMA is able to immediately assist Hurricane Sandy survivors who may still be lacking in aid information and resources.
