The clean water will then be distributed throughout Grand Forks, North Dakota to people returning to their homes after the Red River flood. Many of the people returning to their homes do not have running water or electricity. The water purification unit has cleaned over one million gallons of water and is one of six units in the area. Onboard the US Navy (USN) Whidbey Island Class Dock Landing Ship, USS OAK HILL (LSD 51), USN Sailors observe as the ship secures alongside the Indian Flagged motor vessel (MV) BHAKTI SAGAR. The OAK HILL moored with MV BHAKTI SAGAR after receiving a distress call. While alongside, OAK HILL provided the motor vessel with provisions, hot meals from the galley, and 3,900 gallons of JP5 fuel. The OAK HILL is currently deployed in the Indian Ocean conducting Maritime Security Operations (MOS) as part of the Dutch-led Coalition Task Force (CTF-150)

Monday, aerial assets of the 302nd AEG did not perform aerial firefighting missions due limited visibility over the fires.
