Army National Guard, STAFF SGT. Gregory L. Stalker, a CH-47 Chinook flight engineer from Detachment 1, Company F, 106th Aviation, Davenport, Iowa, watches as a load of construction materials are lowered from the helicopter to the site at Malali. The 106th is participating, as part of Combined Task Force Falcon in this first combined humanitarian and civic assistance exercise conducted between the United States and Guyana. Military personnel from the Air Force, Air Force Reserve & National Guard, Army, Army National Guard and Marine Corps participated in the exercise which included engineering and medical readiness training

The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt. All of these materials are preserved because they are important to the workings of Government, have long-term research worth, or provide information of value to citizens.
