Captain Thom Gilster, a C-130 Hercules pilot with the 37th Airlift Squadron, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, looks over his shoulder as he pulls into the ninth and last position on the end of the runway for a minimum separation take-off. A minimum separation take-off allow all of the aircraft to line up on the runway. Shortly after the first aircraft lifts-off then the next aircraft begins its' take-off roll.
