U.S. Marine Corps troops in High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV) of Weapons Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, conduct a mounted patrol in the cold and snowy weather of the Khowst-Gardez Pass, Afghanistan, in order to disrupt any enemy activity on Dec. 30, 2004.  The Marines are stuck in heavy snow and had to move on foot.  These Marines are conducting security and stabilization operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
