This is the inside of the T55 Russian tank where the C-4 plastic explosive charges were placed, by the Explosive Ordnance Detachment, that will destroy the turret and render it useless. This took place in the field artillery area of operation on Camp Dobol, during Operation JOINT GUARD. On December 20, 1996, the Implementation Force (IFOR) mission came to a conclusion and the 1ST Infantry Division was selected to continue serving in Bosnia as part of the new Stabilization Force (SFOR).
