US Marine Corps (USMC) Marines with 3rd Battalion (BN), 8th Marines Regiment (MAR REGT) (3/8), Kilo Company (K CO), 2nd Platoon (PLT), 3rd Squad (SQD), stand in a 7-ton medium armored MTVR (Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement) truck bed during a security halt during Operation Scimitar. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt.
