This Square contains a cemetery located on Ul S. Kavacevica Street in Mostar, which became a flash point for ethnic violence between Croats and Bosnians on 10 Feb 1997. Headquarters building for SFOR's (Stabilization Force) Multi National Division South East (MND SE) is located about 200 yards southwest of the tarmac of the Mostar Aerodrome, Bosnia-Herzogovinia. MND SE is a predominantly French division (approximately 60 percent) with staff and force augmentation from equal portions (approximately 15 percent) of German and UK forces, the remaining 10 percent of forces are provided by Spanish, Italian, and Moroccan forces. US and Canadian forces comprise a very minor level of manning to this division. The French call this building the "Division Multinationale Sud-Est Post De Comandement"

The Defense Visual Information Distribution Service provides a connection between world media and the American military personnel serving at home and abroad. All of these materials are preserved because they are important to the workings of Government, have long-term research worth, or provide information of value to citizens.
