Current forecast projected path and wind speeds of Hurricane Ivan from September 7 to September 12. Ivan, a category three hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson hurricane scale, is approximately 45 miles Northeast of Tobago, moving at near 18 MPH. Maximum sustained winds remain near 115 MPH with winds extending outwards up to 70 miles. The storm is expected to gradually turn toward the west-northwest later Tuesday.
