NEW HORIZONS 2004 - GUYANA is a joint service training exercise held in Guyana, co-sponsored by both the US Southern Command in Miami, Florida (FL) and the Guyana Defense Force (GDF). During this four-month exercise, a combined team of GDF and US military personnel will engage in construction projects and medical training activities directly benefiting the local community. The exercise will include up to three construction projects and two Medical Readiness Training Exercises (MEDRETE)

The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt.
