Portions of a Russian Oscar Class Ballistic submarine are sheared down to smaller pieces by a Labounty Shears. The shears are set up on a Caterpillar tractor that was provided to the shipyard under the Nunn-Lugar / Cooperative Threat Reduction Program. Following the shearing process, the metal will be moved to a second sight where it will be compacted using a Mantus crane and a Harris boiler, also provide under the Nunn-Lugar / Cooperative Threat Reduction Program
