The Motor Vessel (MV) POWHATAN (former USNS POWHATAN T-ATF-166), is escorted by US Navy (USN) Patrol Craft, as members of the local and national media arrive on scene, 22 miles south of Pensacola in approximately 212 feet of water in the Gulf of Mexico to witness the sinking of the Decommissioned US Navy (USN) Intrepid Class Aircraft Carrier USS ORISKANY (CV 34).
