Hangar Bay Division personnel took full advantage of this at sea period as this work is normally accomplished at the ship yard level

U.S. Air Force AIRMAN 1ST Class Christi Knox, 49th Operations Support Squadron, Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., repaints the outside of the Cloudcroft New Mexico SENIOR Center on Sept. 23, 2004. The annual Otero County United Way Day of Caring benefits people and organizations needing help because of a handicap or other special need. Over 400 volunteers from Holloman performed work such as grass cutting, painting, pulling weeds, general house keeping, serving meals, and wood work for the local communities near the base. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt. The Defense Visual Information Distribution Service provides a connection between world media and the American military personnel serving at home and abroad. All of these materials are preserved because they are important to the workings of Government, have long-term research worth, or provide information of value to citizens.
