Royal Navy and U.S. Army personnel work on a damaged Royal Navy Sea King Mk4 helicopter to prepare it for loading on the Russian Antonev AN-124-100 "Ruslan" (NATO code name "Condor") in the background. The Sea King sheared its tail rotor as a result of a hard landing on the Fort Bragg, N.C. reservation while participating in Exercise PURPLE STAR (Combined Joint Task Force 96 individual commands used their own code names for the exercise).
