Major John Chianese, USAF, Commander, 105th Security Forces Squadron (SFS), gives Vice President Dick Cheney an NYPD Emergency Service Cap. He informed the Vice President that Unit lost a member; SENIOR AIRMAN (SRA) Jerome Dominguez, in the tragic events of September 11, and that he was an Emergency Services Unit (ESU) Officer. MAJ Chianese also gave him a card with SRA Jerome's picture on it. The members of the 105th SFS made up the card with Jerome's picture on the front (In his ESU uniform standing atop the Brooklyn Bridge) and a prayer on the back. Vice President Cheney is returning to Washington DC after attending a private event in Dutchess County New York

The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt. NARA keeps those Federal records that are judged to have continuing value—about 2 to 5 percent of those generated in any given year.
