Coast Guard members look on as a Haitian Swat Team prepares to take part in a training exercise in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. The exercise also included US Army soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry, 1ST Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and the US and Haitian Coast Guards. The exercise was a mock "siege" of the chief seaport of Port-Au-Prince. This training exercise was part of the Contingency Readiness exercise taking place in Haiti, 12 April 1997

US Army personnel of the 2nd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry, 1ST Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, take up their positions after successfully "seizing" the chief seaport of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. The mission, a mock siege, also (Not Shown) included members of the US Coast Guard, Haitian Coast Guard, and the Haitian Swat Team.
