US Air Force C-17A Globemaster IIIs delivered HDRs in support of ENDURING FREEDOM from Germany to Afghan refugees who have massed inside the borders of Afghanistan. Eighty-four TRIAD boxes, each measuring 80 inches tall and 48 by 48 inches square, filled with 420 HDRs will be loaded onto a C-17A Globemaster III. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt. NARA keeps those Federal records that are judged to have continuing value—about 2 to 5 percent of those generated in any given year.
