HA Nathan Bardin, a US Navy Corpsman assigned to Camp Pendleton, California, left, bandages up a Somali orphan after cleaning a foot abrasion with peroxide. The orphanage is just outside of Mogadishu. US Navy and Air Force medical personnel met up with a civilian care group (not shown) to assist in giving check-ups to the children in the orphanage. Once word got out that there was a medical team in town, women from the local area started bringing their children (not shown).
