Many of them have been turned over to the Red Cross for workshops for the women who volunteer to make bandages and other surgical dressings for the soldiers and sailors. This photo was taken in the bowling alleys in the home of Charles M. Schwab, and shows a number of women at work. The Schwab home is at Riverside Drive, New York City
