The U.S. Navy Arleigh Burke Class Destroyer USS Barry (DDG 52) operates in the waters of the Western Atlantic Ocean as a CH-46 "Sea Knight" from Helicopter Combat Support Squadron Eight (HC-8) takes off from the Kilauea Class Ammunition Ship, USS Mount Baker (AE 34) January 29, 1996. Both vessels are part of USS George Washington Battle Group, under the command of RADM Henry Giffen, currently enroute to the Mediterranean Sea for a scheduled six-month deployment. While there, they will patrol the waters of the Adriatic Sea in support of the NATO peace keeping mission Operation Joint Endeavor
