Das Hauptgebäude der iranischen Ölplattform Sassan brennt, nachdem es von einer BGM-71-Rakete getroffen wurde, die von einem Marine AH-1 Cobra Hubschrauber abgefeuert wurde. Der Angriff war Teil der Operation Gottesanbeterin, die gestartet wurde, nachdem die Fregatte USS SAMUEL B. ROBERTS (FFG-58) am 14. April 1988 eine iranische Mine getroffen hatte.
