PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 2, 2016) Cmdr. Manuel Hernandez, commanding officer of guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111), Cmdr. Tim Arbulu, executive officer, Lt. Cmdr. Scott French, officer in charge of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 49 “Devilfish” detachment assigned to Spruance, and Sailors assigned to Spruance and HSM 49 stand in front of a MH-60R “Seahawk” helicopter on the flight deck following the pinning ceremony for the first Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist program aboard a destroyer.
