161129-N-WA189-275 OKINAWA, Japan (Nov. 29, 2016) Seaman Miranda Roudabush, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, drives a forklift while moving containers inside of a warehouse on Camp Shields during an embark exercise. The exercise tests the commands ability to mobilize within 48 hours to react to different types of contingency operations around the world. NMCB 5 is the forward deployed Western Pacific NMCB ready to support Major Combat Operations, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief operations, and to provide general engineering and civil support to Navy, Marine Corps and joint operational forces.
