180417-N-YJ378-0181 PACIFIC OCEAN (April 17, 2018) Damage Control Fireman Victor Mondragon, a native of Camarillo, Calif., performs a main drainage test in auxiliary machine room one, aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23), during the Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV). Anchorage is underway with INSURV, which conducts material inspections of all naval ships at least once every five years, for the purpose of determining and reporting upon a ship’s fitness for further service.
