A medal signifying the successful completion of the Orlando Tunnel to Tower 5k race hangs around the neck of U.S. Army Spc. Andy Meyreles (right), Ammunition Stock Control and Accounting Specialist, Mission Support Element, 143d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary). Meyreles, who also serves as a firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician for the Orange County Fire Department, and more than 50 fellow Soldiers from the 143d ESC gathered at Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Springs, Fla., Sept. 8, 2018, to participate in this annual event that raises funds and awareness for the hundreds of first responders who gave their lives while saving others during 9/11.
