A Peshmerga soldier takes cover behind a wall, using a broken piece of mirror for observation, while a comrade investigates a possible dangerous device during explosive ordnance disposal and counter improvised explosive device training conducted by the German Army on Feb. 13, 2017 near Black Tiger training area in Iraq. The day's training was conducted by the German Army (Bundeswehr) as part of the Kurdistan Training Coordination Center. The KTCC is parts of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve building partner capacity as a global Coalition dedicated to the training, advising and assistance of Kurdish forces to defeat ISIS in Iraq.
