After the storm surge from Hurricane Sandy flooded
Summary
After the storm surge from Hurricane Sandy flooded their house with five feet of water, the homeowners made the decision to elevate their house above the new flood level of 12 feet determined by New York State and FEMA. Unified hydraulic jacks lift the support beams to elevate the house. Wood is then added to the cribs that will support the beams while pilings and a new foundation are built.
