US Air Force STAFF Sergeant Erik Hanson, a Communication Technician with the 821st Air Mobility Squadron, McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey, determines where the supplies from a simulated airdrop landed. By using grid coordinates located on thier map the team retrieved the errant supplies from the Range 13 on Fort Dix, New Jersey. The training exercise on Ft. Dix is designed to train deployed Air Mobility Operations Group personnel to defend a new air base from Threat II attacks for up to 24 hours or until Security Forces or Army reinforcements arrive.
