Summary
Alaska Air National Guardsmen from the 176th Wing prepare an HC-130J Combat King II aircraft from the 211th Rescue Squadron for travel from Naval Air Station Oceana, Va., to Kinston, N.C., via Sept. 16, 2018, to assist in response to hurricane relief operations. Pararescuemen from the 212th RQS will be coordinating with local authorities to rescue isolated flood survivors and conducting site surveys for disaster relief centers via a California ANG 129th Rescue Wing HH-60 Pavehawk helicopter crewed by members of the ANG’s 210th RSQ.
