All-hands call, US Navy Photogrpah
Summary
NORFOLK - Fleet Forces Commander, Adm. Phil Davidson spoke at an all-hands call Tuesday to thank the men and women of HM-14 and 15 and the H-53 Fleet Readiness Detachment for their dedicated maintenance efforts and safe operations. "It's great to see the success you've achieved since I last visited in April, said Davidson. When it comes to the Airborne Mine Counter Measures mission, you are 'the capability' within the joint force. It's incredibly important, and there is not right now a plan to do anything but fly these aircraft for some time. The navy's obligation is to make these aircraft viable for as long as we need them and I guarantee you as long as I'm the Fleet Forces Commander, I'm going to be putting money into this program and energizing the resource chain. I'm counting all you ALL to lead the culture that proudly rebuilds H-53 readiness; forges the new training organization, and helps evolve and usher into the Fleet the future capabilities [that you'll be part of] whenever that program does comes online."
