An Iraqi Army instructor from the Qwat al-Khasah, Arabic for Special Forces, guides a QK soldier during room clearing training at Taji Military Complex, Iraq, Oct. 21, 2019. The QK is an elite force that the Iraqi Ministry of Defense can use to conduct raids, seize, clear and hold terrain for limited durations, and conduct reconnaissance, counter-insurgency or counter terrorism operations. Coalition Forces are assessing the QK’s capabilities in order to conduct advise, assist, accompany and enable operations in the future.
