U.S. Army medics trained the Iraqi soldiers in a variety of proper medical techniques and life-saving skills. This training is part of the overall Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve building partner capacity mission to increase the military capacity of Iraqi Security Forces fighting the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
