Army Reserve soldiers from the Philadelphia area gather
Summary
Army Reserve soldiers from the Philadelphia area gather at the Philadelphia Eagles Training Facility to spend the afternoon participating in video game competitions with fellow soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan as they compete with Eagles players. Soldiers had an opportunity to meet several Eagles players, get autographs and relax with members of the Eagles organization. This event was sponsored by the nonprofit organization "Pro v. G.I. Joe" which partners with the NFL and NBA teams throughout the country to facilitate gaming competition among military members and pro athletes. Over 75 uniformed military personnel participated. Army Reserve soldiers from the 316th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, headquartered in Coraopolis, Pa., along with local airmen, Marines and National Guardsmen took part.
