Chalatenango, El Salvador (Sep. 1, 2016) - Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Michael Bigelow, a preventive medicine technician assigned to Naval Environmental Preventive Medicine Unit 2, right, helps an Operation Blessing’s Medical Brigade health worker fill a prescription at a temporary pharmacy station in Chalatenango, El Salvador during Southern Partnership Station 2016 (SPS 16). Operation Blessing’s Medical Brigade is a nonprofit mobile patient care unit established to provide medical service to those affected by natural disasters and render aid to rural areas. SPS-16 is an annual deployment of U.S. ships to the U.S. Southern Command's area of responsibility in the Caribbean and Latin America.
