Col. Heath Roscoe, right, commander of the 36th Engineer Brigade, out of Fort Hood, Texas, visits Soldiers of the 615th Engineer Company, 4th Engineer Battalion, 36th Eng. Bde., out of Fort Carson, Colorado, to see their progress on repairing the Freeport Road near the port, Monrovia, Liberia, Jan. 14, 2015, in support of Operation United Assistance. Roscoe checked in on the Soldiers and thanked them for their hard work. The soldiers wore masks to protect them from dust and debris particles from the construction. Operation United Assistance is a Department of Defense operation in Liberia to provide logistics, training and engineering support to U.S. Agency for International Development-led efforts to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in western Africa.
