Summary
Command Sgt. Maj. David J. Tookmanian, the outgoing senior enlisted adviser for the 716th Military Police Battalion, 16th Military Police Brigade, supported by the 101st Sustainment Brigade, 101st Airborne Division, passes the battalion colors to Lt. Col. Leevaine Williams Jr., the commander of the 716th MP Battalion, during a change of responsibility ceremony Oct. 22, at Fort Campbell, Ky. In the time since he assumed responsibility as the command sergeant major for the battalion on May 16, 2013, Tookmanian assisted the battalion commander in leading the Soldiers of the 716th through several changes, including changing the battalion’s higher headquarters from the 89th Military Police Brigade to the 16th Military Police Brigade, using borrowed military manpower from the division to augment the access control point mission and using new law enforcement techniques to reduce crime on Fort Campbell.
