Summary
Croatian members of the International Security Assistance Force, Regional Command North meet with political and spiritual leaders of Homaro Faroq Village near Camp Marmal, for the Primary School of Azart Omer Faroq cornerstone laying ceremony. The village's current school is the last of five small tents that were destroyed in high winds. The new school, which is slated to be finished in September, will have five classrooms and two offices. The Croatia Ministry of Foreign Affairs funded school is the largest Croatian project in Afghanistan to date and at an estimated cost of $127,000.
