Dr. Laurel Freas, a forensic anthropologist assigned to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency, (DPAA) consoles Amy House, wife of the late U.S. Marine Corps Capt. John A. House II, after a chain of custody ceremony held at DPAA on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Sept. 13, 2018. House went missing in action on June 30, 1967 when his helicopter went down during a reconnaissance mission over South Vietnam. His wife accompanied by his son Eric House to receive his remains 51 years after his death. The remains will be transported to Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia, where he will be buried with full military honors. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Leah Ferrante)
