Explosive ordnance disposal technicians insert blasting

description

Summary

Explosive ordnance disposal technicians insert blasting caps into blocks of M112 demolition charges to prepare for disposing of unexploded ordnance (UXO) at a demolitions range in Southwest Asia, Feb. 2, 2019. EOD technicians assist in disposing of UXOs to prevent injury to civilians and military personnel. The Coalition and its partners continue in their commitment to the enduring defeat of Daesh. Achieving an enduring defeat of ISIS requires preventing the return of conditions under which Daesh arose. (U.S. Army Photo by Staff Sgt. Ray Boyington)
