F/A-18 Hornets fly alongside a KC-130J Super Hercules
Summary
F/A-18 Hornets fly alongside a KC-130J Super Hercules after refueling Oct. 1 during Forager Fury III on Guam. The F/A-18s fly to the side (as a safety measure) in case the fuel hose breaks off so it won’t fly backward into the aircraft behind them, according to Capt. Jacob Coronado, from San Antonio, Texas. Coronado is the KC-130J Super Hercules pilot providing fuel for the F/A-18 Hornets and he is with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 152, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
