ION THRUSTER INSTALLATION AND FACILITY

STAFF SGT. Barry Kellog, a structural craftsman assigned to the 820th Red Horse Squadron, Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, removes his safety goggles after pressure washing the interior of the Ascension Community High School in Georgetown. The school was renovated as part of the first combined humanitarian and civic assistance exercise conducted between the United States and Guyana. Military personnel from Air Force, Air Force Reserve & National Guard, Army, Army National Guard and Marine Corps participated in the exercise which included engineering and medical readiness training

Airplanes - Instruments - Manufacturing altimeters for the aviation section at the plant of the Taylor Instrument Companies, Rochester, N.Y. Heat compensating cabinet for Tycos Altimeters. Temperature is raised from room temperature to 40 degrees Centigrade.
