Indirect-fire infantrymen with the 2-101 Cavalry Squadron perform range operations with M120 and M224 mortars during an Exportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) exercise at Fort Drum, N.Y., July 14. The M120 is capable of putting rounds 7200 meters downrange and is manned by a crew of three. During combat operations, the mortar teams are deployed to cover troop movements.
