Ironhorse commander conducts Lithuania site visit before Soldiers, vehicles arrive

Before Soldiers and vehicles start arriving, Staff Sgt. Christopher Nemier, Bradley Fighting Vehicle Supervisor, Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, briefs the concept of operations for vehicle and equipment maintenance and storage during Atlantic Resolve to Col. John DiGiambattista, commander, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, and Lt. Col. Felix Perez, commander, 2nd Bn., 8th Cav. Reg., 1st BCT, during a site visit to Lithuanian Land Forces Rukla Base Sept. 28. The U.S. Army Europe-led Atlantic Resolve, a multinational combined arms exercise involving the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, and host nations, takes place across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland to enhance multinational interoperability, to strengthen relationships among allied militaries, to contribute to regional stability and to demonstrate US commitment to NATO.
