Summary

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (April 18, 2019) – Kimberly Krist, a physical therapy assistant at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, conducts stabilization exercises with a patient. Krist, a native of Westfield, Wisconsin, says, “I’m a Coast Guard veteran. So, moving to Jacksonville has given me the opportunity to work directly with active duty service members and their families again. I feel a strong connection to getting our sailors, Marines, and other service members ready for their mission.” April 30 marks the 2nd birthday of Navy Medicine’s Civilian Corps. The Civilian Corps joined the Medical, Dental, Medical Service, Nurse, and Hospital Corps as a means to support career and leadership development for Navy Medicine’s civilian team.
