Loading up on Class 2 gravel, engineers with the California
Summary
Loading up on Class 2 gravel, engineers with the California National Guard Counterdrug Task Force work to rehabilitate portions of a road known as Monument 250 road, in eastern San Diego County, Jan. 22. After a grader initially smoothed down the surface, dump trucks poured the moistened gravel onto the road and the grader returned to even the gravel. Vehicle traffic along the road completed the final step in the rehabilitation by tamping compacting down the gravel. (U.S. Army National Guard photo/ Sgt. 1st Class Benjamin M. Cossel/ Released)
